Front desk receptionist Job Description
PART TIME POSITION
DAYS: Monday - Thursday
TIME: 3:00pm-8:00pm
WAGE: $10.00
The front desk receptionist is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations.
Work hours will be Monday through Thursday with evening and possible weekend as required. The office manager will report to the gym manager and perform the following responsibilities:

The front desk receptionist is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations.
Work hours will be Monday through Thursday with evening and possible weekend as required. The office manager will report to the gym manager and perform the following responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
- Provide excellent customer service and help to create and maintain a welcoming and professional environment.
- Assist with new enrollments, answering phone, schedule makeups and sales of pro shop items.
- Assist coaches with handouts and event paperwork.
- Assist with 2 -3 special events per year.
- Learn and be able to use the online systems for checking rosters, attendance and understanding member status.
- Log office supplies, first aid supplies, and Pro shop supplies & sales.
- Submit maintenance and office supply requests when needed.
- Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the gym. submit maintenance and office supply requests when needed.
- Participate in training sessions and attend mandatory meetings as scheduled.
- Work closely and in partnership with the Gym Owner, Gymnastics Director and Cheer Director.
- Regular, predictable attendance is required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- GED or high school diploma required.
- Two years of office management, assistant or customer service experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Docs and Canva
- Strong written, and verbal communication skills.
- Detail oriented. Able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Able to handle multiple projects at the same time.
- Capacity to assist in planning events and activities.
- Be consistent and reliable in arrival and attendance to assure the proper operation of the program.
- Must be flexible with work schedule in order to participate in special programs, staff meetings and department and agency wide events.
- Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds.
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the position.
- Proven track record of utilizing good judgment and decision making skills to be able to work independently.
- Ability to obtain certification for First Aid, CPR and AED certificates.
- Pass Background check.
