As soon as you know your child is going to miss class, please log into the parent portal and mark your child absent so we know you will be missing class.
can i make up for a missed class?
The parent portal allows you to log your upcoming missed days and schedule a make-up in accordance with our make-up policy.
All students receive one (1) make-up class per calendar month. Regardless of how many classes you miss, you will not be allowed more than one (1) make-up class. This does not include gym holiday, weather or competition closures with automatic make-ups. If one of these closures falls in the same calendar month as your absence, you will be allowed one (1) make-up in addition to the gym closure.

You have 3 weeks from the date of the missed class to attend a make-up class.
Why can’t I see the class time I want my child to make up their class on the list of options?
We only allow 2 makeup spots per class to keep classes from getting over crowded. Once these slots are full, you will no longer be able to see them on the list of available make-up class options. If you do not see a spot available for the class you want, it may be full. You will need to look for a different week to schedule your makeup.

No, you can not pre-schedule a make-up class before the actual missed class.
- You can only pre schedule an absence.
- You must wait until after the class has been missed, even though you pre scheduled your absence.
- The system will not allow our coaches to log future attendance.
- Once the coach is allowed to take attendance after class they will mark them absent.
- You will need to wait a two days for our office staff to mark them eligible for a makeup.
do we get a credit for missed classes or holiday closures?
We do not offer refunds or credits for missed classes. We are holding your spot for your child in that class. If you miss class, you will only receive one makeup per month.

My child can’t attend any of the available make-up classes. Can one of my other children or a friend use that make-up instead?
Makeups are non-transferable between family members or other athletes. If your athlete misses the make-up, chooses not to schedule a make-up or drops from class before they can use the make-up the make-up is forfeited.
can we schedule a make-up class after we drop from a class if we still have one we didn't use before our last day of class?
If you choose to leave the program, you can not schedule any makeups after your last scheduled day in class. Makeups classes are reserved for currently enrolled students, and should be scheduled within 3 weeks of the absence. Once your child is dropped from class and it is past your last day, you are no longer currently enrolled in the system and it will not allow you to schedule a makeup.

No, all make-up classes must be scheduled through the parent portal. You cannot just show up. If you do, you will be turned away.

Make-up classes are for recreation classes only. There are no make-up opportunities or credits given for absences in camps, clinics or teams.

You must attend your make up class on the day you scheduled in the portal. If a student misses their make-up class, they are not allowed to reschedule.
What if I can't make up any of the classes available?
We understand that life is busy but we have several options available for you to make up a class. If you are unable to make-up your class within the make up range of available classes you will forfeit your makeup class for that missed day.
my child is in a level 1 class, can i schedule him/her for a level 2 make-up class if it fits better into my schedule?
We can not put children in higher or lower level classes. For safety reasons all athletes must do make-ups in a level appropriate class.
